Everyone Wants to Know:What’s Happening to the West Pasco Housing Market
Everywhere I go, the question that people ask is what’s happening to the housing market? Is it getting better? Are sales increasing? And, of course, the big question: Are prices going up?
West Pasco in Florida is seeing a change in the housing market: Inventory is shrinking and sales have increased.

Prices have not yet increased but if inventory keeps going down-prices will start to creep up. We won't see what happened in 2005-2006 however.
My assistant, Shayna, has been hard at work crunching the numbers. And, here they are.
As of today, there are:
- 1911 Homes Active on the Market
- 450 Active with Contingencies
- 698 Pending
Short Sales and Foreclosures account for the following of those numbers.

- Of the 1911 Actives: 564 are Short Sales or Foreclosures
- Of the 450 Active With Contigencies: 361 are Short Sales or Foreclosures
- Of the 698 Pending: 419 are Short Sales or Foreclosures.
To Date in 2012, there have been 1608 Sales; of those 590 were Short Sales or Foreclosures.
And that is what is happening in the West Pasco Housing Market.
