Two Little Piggies went to Play Golf in Timber Greens-New Port Richey-FL

Two wild hogs went running through our backyard today and we just managed to get these pictures as they zoomed by. Those guys can really move.

I have lived here for four years and was told that we had wild hogs but never saw one till now. We do see the damage they do to the golf-course when they have a hoe-down out there at night, and they ripped up some of our flowers out front.

Timber Greens in New Port Richey-Florida is a lovely 55+ golf course community and these guys don't look 55+, and they don't look like the Red River Hog in Animal Kingdom I posted last week.

I’m a Grandma- Our Baby Cardinals Hatched

Baby Cardinals aren’t much to look a but they are cute and so much fun to watch since Mama built her nest right outside my home office window in Timber Greens.
Mom and Dad both feed the babies.

See the head and beak on the left and the baby up center front. The first picture was yesterday, and we have two more hatchlings today.

Uh Oh, someone's hungry

Not to worry - Here comes the food

Mama Cardinal Goes Grocery Shopping on Wild Wednesday

I have a lovely Ligustrum bush by my front door and every spring a cardinal couple build a nest and raise their family in it.

Mom and Dad share feeding duties and this morning Mom was heading out to go shopping for groceries.  Of course, we keep her local supermarket nearby - our feeder is always filled.

Splishing And a Splashing on a Sunny Sunday Afternoon

The sky is blue, the wind is blowing like crazy, and this beautiful Cardinal decided to take a bath.  He had a great time ducking into and out of the water and shaking his wings. I love to watch them.

Does this make me a voyeur?

Another Glorious Sunset in New Port Richey-Florida

As we pulled out of Timber Greens on our way to Yappy Hour at Alli Gators Thursday evening, we had the honor and privilege of seeing this glorious sunset.

Sunsets can be so different every evening, I think that’s why so many of us are fascinated by them and keep taking pictures.

I have to say I have never seen a sunset I didn’t like ;)
