Taste of Trinity 4 And Business Expo on Sept 15 2012

Trinity Florida will be celebrating its quality of life and unique food at the 4th Annual Taste of Trinity at Seven Springs Middle School, 2441 Little Road. The event runs from 11am-3pm on Saturday, Sept 15, 2012. Admission is $5 per person or $15 for a family four pack.

Taste signature dishes and tantalizing desserts from our local participating restaurants, ice cream shops, and cafes. There will be live entertainment, kids activities, raffles and prizes, and other fun activities. Other local businesses will be there also.

The Annual Taste of Trinity event raises money for the enhancement of technology for the students at Seven Springs Middle School. All proceeds go to the PTSO.

Taste of Trinity set a record last year regarding the highest attendance (725 patrons) and highest monies raised ($7000.00). Let’s make it even higher this year. Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.

This is one event you will not want to miss

Our Pet Smart-SPCA Suncoast Adoption Event Was Fun
and 2 Puppies were adopted

We spent the better part of the day at Pet Smart in Trinity-FL with 3 puppies. 2 were adopted; and we have someone wanting the third who will stop in the SPCA Suncoast tomorrow. Read the previous post about Pet Smart National Adoption Day

I love doing these events because we get to talk to so many other pet lovers and the Pet Smart people are so great to us; and they give a booklet full of coupons and information to each adopting family. Thank you Pet Smart Trinity, Aaron, and all the good folks there. It's a good day when you can find homes for the homeless pets.

Pet Smart National Adoption Day and SPCA Suncoast together on May 5 2012

Pet Smart hosts a National Adoption Day several times a year, and the SPCA Suncoast of New Port Richey Florida  is invited to participate. We will be at the Pet Smart in Trinity at the Mitchell Crossings Shopping Center on Little and SR 54 with puppies available for adoption from 11am-2pm on Saturday, May 5, 2012.

We will also be collecting dog and cat food, and blankets, quilts, towels to use in our kennels and Kitty Kabana, and cleaning supplies. So stop by and say hello, and pet the puppies.

SPCA Suncoast is at 7734 Congress St., New Port Richey Florida open Wed-Sun noon till 6pm

Donations we need at the shelter.

Sundance Central Railroad Trains-Fine Scale Modeling is Now in Odessa-FL

All you model railroad lovers now have something really special to see every third Saturday of the month. The center will be open to the public starting March 17th from 10am till 4pm. Located at 2645 Success Dr, Odessa, FL.

A little history about the Sundance Central Railroad

• This railroad is built in Fn3 scale which is 1:20.3 or about twice the size of a Lionel O scale train.
• The layout is a modular design which allows us to dissemble it and ship it.  It has been to many national Narrow Gauge
• conventions from Portland Maine to Portland Oregon and has won many of the top modeling awards in the country.
• The layout has been an on-going collaboration of 7 guys for almost a decade.
• The set up of the Sundance Central takes about 15 hours and take down is about 5 hours.
• The track is aluminum and was all hand laid and hand spiked.  
• Frank Palmer, Richard Schmitt, Dave Revelia, Keith Wolfe, Dale MacKeown and Jim Hopes
  
• comprise this fine group of modelers, builders and dreamers.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay Want You to Start Something Big on March 15, 2012

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay is hosting a fundraising luncheon on March 15, 2012 at 11:30am at the Phi Delta Kappa Banquet Facility at 11201 Phi Delta Way (Near to Pappas Ranch Restaurant on SR 54) Odessa, FL.

Individual seats are $10 each and additional donations would be appreciated. Big Brothers Big Sisters Tampa Bay is a great organization and really helps the kids who need it. The number of homes sold in January is down from December in most subdivisions of Trinity; but inventory is also down. Prices seem to be just a little bit higher in the area than for the last few months.
