Trinity FL - Trinity Oaks is part of the Trinity Community in Pasco County
Trinity Oaks is part of the larger area known simply as Trinity in the southern part of Pasco County. The Trinity Community is named after Trinity College of Florida, a Bible college founded in 1932, when it relocated to the first occupied site in the communities developed by Dr. James Gills in the late 1980s.

Other communities within Trinity include Champions Club,Foxwood, Trinity West and East, Heritage Springs and The Villages Of Fox Hollow. Situated on the Pinellas County border, Trinity is one of the newer developments in Pasco County. Trinity has two main supermarkets: Publix in Chelsea Place, and in Mitchell Ranch Plaza. In addition there is also a Target and WalMart; and the YMCA, shopping, restaurants such as Grille 54, Outback, and Pappas Ranch, and several health facilities including the new hospital on SR 54.
