New Port Richey, FL - The Holiday Parade was a great hit this year just as it is every year. The weather was not really great; it was very cold and misty and damp but we all had a wonderful time seeing the floats and lights; and kids marching; and horses marching. What's not to love about a parade?
And, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus came at the end of the parade.

Hi Toni,
I'm so glad to see these photos of the parade! Why it's one of the best ones I've seen yet - no kidding! I wish I was there to see it in person. I love that they did it after dark. Here in Flower Mound, TX they always have the parades on a Saturday morning. The kids have to get up really early and if the sun is shining they have to squint their eyes. This is a GREAT way to entertain a crowd! I wish more communities would follow suit. I'm going to suggest it to my Town because this is truly an awesome way to get family involvement. What a beautiful treat it was for me and I am truly impressed with the talent that went into putting those floats together!
NEW PORT RICHY-FLORIDA IS AN EXCELLENT LOCATION TO SETTLE DOWN AND CALL HOME!
THANKS TO TONI WEIDMAN, EVERYONE CAN GET A CHANCE TO SEE HOW MUCH FUN IT IS TO LIVE THERE! IF I EVER FIND OUT THAT SOMEONE WANTS TO MOVE TO FL, I'M REFERRING TONI WEIDMAN!
Good morning Toni!
Great presentation...Beautiful parade...
Have a great holiday to you and your family!
Patricia - thank you! Have a wonderful Christmas.
Joshua, thank you. Happy Holidays to you too.
Toni--I love your slideshow. I just joined picknic & hope to do one before the new year.
PS At least you didn't have that other four letter word snow.
Mary - I love picnik for slideshows; it's so easy. No, we didn't have snow but that would have made things more interesting, fer shur.
Toni-these are really good pictures of the parade. It looks like it was a lot of fun. Thanks for the tip on Picnik. That must be how you get your name on your photos also. I had some of mine stolen earlier this year, so need to start doing that.
No, actually, I put my copyyright on photos in Picassa; another program I just love, I use it then send them to Picnik for slide shows.
