Toni - I was hesitant to scroll down your post because I didn't want to see the cute faces of the puppies.  What a great cause to support.  I hope that people will learn that if you have a pet you need to be responsible...

My husband's Great Dane, currently with his big self in my lap, was a rescue as were the other 4 fur babies at my house. And thanks for the reminder that I need to drop off some food at my local shelter.

Toni, there are so many pets to be rescued, and nice to save them!   These pups are so cute!

Kathy - they are all just so cute and it's hard not to take them all home. It's very rewarding to see them go to a great home.

Tammy - that's wonderful! And, a big thank you from all the animal rescue groups for your support.

Joan - you're right; and we can't save them all but we sure work hard at our SPCA to get as many placed as possible. Thanks.

Toni -- As I sit here with my little fur baby on the chair with me, my heart aches for all those animals who don't have safe, loving homes.  I commend you on your support of the SPCA.  I have in my plan to put up pet adoptions hoping to get the word out.  Those two puppies are beautiful. I can't go to an adoption event, though, unless I can take one home.

Toni,

So glad you had a happy story. There's a lot of animals who owe their lives to this great organization. Thank you for highlighting them.

Barbara - the animal rescue groups need all the help they can get to publicize the plight of homeless animals. So many people are having to give up their animals because of loss of homes.

John - thank you. The animal rescues try very hard to do a really good job but some are totally overwhelmed right now. The SPCA's are not affiliated with each other but are all individual groups. Our shelter gets no public funding and we rely on donations and help from the public.

Alexandra - those two were so cute; we had them with us at an event last weekend. They were both adopted but the picture was so cute I had to use it. Thanks.

OMG they are so cute.  They look nervous the poor babies.

They were a bit shy and I think we had worn them out at that point so I put them in the crate to give them a rest. They were adopted the next day.
