Come in April/May when the garden show is on, Tony. It's extra pretty then.

I have lantana that draws many butterflies in June to October every year.  Can't wait until it blooms again this year.  I love to sit on my deck and watch them.

Tammy- we used to raise Monarchs and release them. I loved it-watching ten or twenty of them zooming around in our yard. We plant lantana and pentas and shrimp plants for them.

Wonderful tour!  I enjoyed it.  We have been to places that are essential greenhouses with all types of butterflies where these gorgeous creatures land on you or on your hands.  They are one of Nature's amazing creations and a delight to all of us creature lovers.  We have always had lantanas grows well around here.  One of the last years we lived in Napa, we were sitting on our deck, and we found ourselves in the path of a Monarch migration.  We moved our chairs and watched them.  It was an amazing moment in our lives, and this went on for several days.  Thanks for sharing this with us. Okay, okay, Toni.  I am motivated to walk away from the computer and play with my silk flowers.  I made stops at Michael's and AC Moore's this afternoon to stock up on supplies.  I plan to add a butterfly to dish garden arrangement.  Bye. (I may post the finished product tomorrow)

Alexandra - we were in one in Atlanta; and they were landing on our heads. That migration must have been wonderful. We always enjoy butterflies; have a butterfly garden and have lots of them right now.

Keller-Williams- it was a fun post. Thanks for commenting. Toni

Cheryl - Yes, it sure is breathtaking. Thank you.

Mary - See, I keep you working :) A butterfly or dish garden is what I'm waiting to see.

WOW - you are magic with a camera!  I have these purple flowers in my garden that attract butterflies...and hummingbirds!  Butterflies are like flowers on wings to me.  :)

Cara - I think of them as flying jewels. Thank you!

Arleen - we actually live 2 hours away from Wally World but it's always worth the drive.

Kathy - I do too; it's just so pretty-they really go all out.

John - they were so excited; especially when a butterfly landed on them.

William - I know you will be posting the pictures-I'll be looking for them. CA has many different ones from ours here in Florida.

VB - thank you. Hope you enjoyed them.

Larry/Sheila - glad you enjoyed the visit.

Rob - It is a fun place especially during the garden festival.

Ann - I didn't realize there was a lizard in Bambi's mouth till I cropped for the close up. My husband noticed it first.

Thank you everyone for your comments.

How dare Bambi eat that poor little ol’ lizard. All of Mother and Father Nature’s creatures have a right to life! JJJJ

Silvia - I know it's hard to make plans to go but if you can--go.

Russel, I don't think Bambi was really eating the lizard; they were just playing!

Thanks for commenting.
