Toni, this seems pretty simple to do --- to help an area we don't hear about very often!
I hope this program gets lots of local support Toni...find and help runaways as soon as possible.
Joan - I think there should be more about there about this issue and the people who help.
Anita - it is important and I hope they do too.
I had not heard of this and will have to run out and get a green bulb for our porch.....thanks for the information!
I haven't heard of this before either....what a nice way to bring attention to this! Thanks Toni!
Hi Toni -
Thanks for letting us know about National Runaway Prevention Month. I had never heard about it before but I can easily see why it's needed and it needs our attention and support! Just another great event the media could and should be covering.
Best regards from the Q
Toni,
Thanks for bringing this to our collective attention! Seems simple enough to do for such a good cause.
Thanks, Toni. I will stop off at the Hardware store to see if they have any after I vote today. Great idea.
Barbara-Jo - I need to get one too. Wonder if Lowe's has them?
Kristin - I think it will be a bigger event in the years to come as people realize there are organizations that will help.
John - you're right it does need our and the media's attention.
John - thanks; it is an easy way to show support.
Ron - thanks. We need to spread the word.
Toni, Sounds like a great cause to support. It is amazing how many youngsters choose to brave the world by themselves. They are faced with such adversity - it is so sad.
Unfortunately, Belinda, some have to in order to survive. It is sad.
Toni, never new that November was National Runaway Prevention Month...a great cause to support.
Howdy and evening Toni
Toni, I sure do hope there was a mighty big turn out of folks that attended this here mighty fine and helpful event today. This sure a great cause folks to show their support of. This sure a great Localism blog post!
Have a good one

What a tremendous idea, Toni. I hadn't heard about this - thank you for highlighting a cause that oftentimes doesn't get enough attention.
Rebecca - I didn't realize there was such a thing either till a friend send it to me.
Dale - thank you. I hope they had a good turnout too.
Karen - I hope it will gain momentum each year.
