On Line Foreclosure Auctions in Pasco County-Florida
Yes, Pasco County does have an On Line process for Auctions. The Clerk & Comptroller’s Office conducts the sale via public auction on the Internet in accordance with Sec. 45.031(10), Florida Statutes. The property or interest being auctioned may be worth less than the assessed value.
Anyone wishing to bid on the properties must register with the Clerk & Comptroller’s Office prior to the sale. The site provides information for each sale item, including the name of the owner, legal description and the opening or base bid.
To get answers to all your questions, visit the Clerk and Comptrollers website here. This site will tell you how to go about placing a bid and what to expect afterwards just click on Start Here and register.
Caution: be aware that a tax deed does not erase all other liens/encumbrances that may still be on the property. The winning bidder takes title to the property subject to all defects, liens, encumbrances and matters of which he/she has or could obtain knowledge. It is the bidders responsibility to perform all research
regarding the property, including the value, title defects, liens, mortgages or other encumbrances. The Clerk’s office will not guarantee a clear title to the property. The properties are sold “As Is” so be sure to check it out beforehand. 8328 Pavilion Dr., Estates of Beacon Woods-Hudson-FL is for Sale

Toni,
Good morning to you, we have been up since 5:30 talking to Florida, and now not quite an hour later, I am writing to you. The homes in foreclosure that are for sale has become a solid reality. I remember the rules from the first real estate test I took to pass the CA exam. I also took a course on foreclousres and thought of this was not really of value as very few buildings in commercial actually got to that point, and it was not worth the time. Now the tides have turned and it is worth the time.
I also think that if someone is interested in this section of the marketplace, they should consult a savvy agent who knows the marketplace to advise them, and pay them for this service. This is another step in being well informed as to what one is buying as well as having an attorney on board. A
Well, you two are really on top of things. Yes, foreclosure auctions are a reality in this market but they must be treated with caution and the buyers need to do their research ahead of making those offers. A good real estate attorney is a must.
Toni: Just dropping by to thank you for voting in the Christmas Photo Contest! Blessings!! Joni ♥
Toni, good information for folks considering those types of sales in your area...I don't do much in that area...
Joni - I enjoyed looking at the pictures. They are all great.
Kristin - I don't either but I worry about not having clear title.
John - yes, and who would have thought it would happen in Pasco County?
Toni, Very good information for these days. Auctions are very popular now with all of the foreclosures around.
Thats a great blog post to educate people on online auctions. There are so many different ways each state deals with it and it is important to educate the public!
Toni: In the information age, this is fantastic information for anyone looking to buy foreclosures in your area.
Toni: This is a very fast moving world we live in today. Buying and selling homes have changed in the last twenty ten years. I wonder if they will ever figure out a way to do the home inspection on the Internet?
Carl Winters
Belinda - it is still something to be cautious about.
Jennifer - I was a little surprised that our county had this set up online.
Anita - a lot of people are using it already.
Carl - I don't see that happening anytime soon. At least not when they can call you :)
