Toni don't you just enjoy watching the Cranes?  We have them here feeding by the hundreds maybe thousands we have feeding areas that grow food to get them through the winter months.  I like to watch them come in for a landing!

John - I do love watching them; they are so aristocratic and very interesting. I love to see the babies.

Nature makes us appreciate so much.  I love watching all creatures.  When we go to the Summerland Park, there are a whole bunch of bunnies that scurry about coming in and out of their warrens.  I have tried to capture them with our camera, and they are too quick for me...they just don't want to record their morments. A

They have to have some privacy too, Alexandra, that's how they make more bunnies ;)

I'm a nature lover too and enjoy watching everything.

Sounds like us doesn't it...after a long day of learning, growing, and trying new things we head home to refuel so we can brave the world again tomorrow.

 They are so pretty and the little baby is adorable. I was so excited when I saw a crane in our city several weeks ago. We think he might have been stopping to rest up during his migration to South Americia and then 2 days later he was gone. Great birds with skinny long legs.

Some of the most beautiful birds in the world call Fla home. And these cranes share in that. They are indeed fun to watch and the litle ones are so cute.

Hello Toni...what a beautiful picture during the middle of winter!!  We are very fortunate here in Florida to have such gorgeous weather year round!!

Aww, that is too cute.  Now if some parents would take advice from these cranes, they too might learn to become better parents!

Toni, I know we've had this conversation before, but Sandhill Cranes are so cool.  I've only seen them once in my back yard in Woodstock Illinois...very big bird...I'd hear them all the time flying very high...probably on their way down to visit you.

Hi Toni - It is amazing how fast that little one will be just as big as the folks!  I can't believe how much the Sand Hill Crane population has grown over the years!
