Look Into My Eagle Eyes - At Animal Kingdom in DisneyWorld-Orlando

Aren’t these eyes majestic? Look at the expression in his face. I would have loved to touch him and felt those feathers but his handler didn’t come close enough.

Toni, wonderful photo! I had two eagles soar over my home last week end, I could believe the size and how effortless they   glided. Majestic!

Thanks, Kerrie.

Adrian - they are magnificent to see flying. We have the brown ones in our area.

Such majestic creatures, Toni - we have a nesting pair in the property behind ours and we often see them lazily circling (look out, kitty cat!) - their sheer size alone is impressive! Thank you for sharing your close-up pic!

Toni~ His eyes are hypnotizing.  I'm sure it was amazing to see an eagle up close.

Toni,

He is beautiful.  We sighted one in the tall eucalyptus in front a few months back.  In Napa we had a golden eagle that hung out in the big oak.  The channel islands is becoming a habitat for them again, and recently there was a sighting of a couple building a nest.  We are so happy that so many are taking an interest in recognizing the treasure that these creatures are. Toni,  The entire eagle is majestic. I don't understand how anyone can harm any living creature.  Petting a bird is a cool experience.  It's not in their nature to be petted ... but once they are trained to allow it  ... they actually learn to like it.

Hi Toni, I would sure agree with you. Aniimal Kingdom is just a fabulous experience. I took so many photo there and one of the most impressive things that I saw on the last trip was the Tree of Life. Someday I will post a couple of those photos but your Eagle photo is just beautiful.

Hi Toni what a beautiful creature, I have not made it to Animal Kingdom I usually get stuck at Seaworld and can't leave but I will definately make it next time I visit Orlando

Posted by Heather Milbourn (South Beaches Real Estate Professional) about 8 years ago

Kristin - we sure did.

Thanks, John.

Karen - you are so lucky to have a nesting pair!

Donna - it sure was. I couldn't believe how big he is.

Alexandra - We see the brown ones here but not these. There was a bald-eagle nest south of us several years ago but I don't think it's still there.

Tony - thank you!

William - thank you too! I don't know how wild he really is since he lives at Disney :)

Myrl - you're right. They are a perfect match. I would love to have his job.

Larry & Sheila - I love seeing them close-up and being able to admire them.

Kathleen - I don't understand how anyone can do that either but that's another whole post!

William - I always come back with hundreds of photos when I go there. The animals are amazing. Thank you.

Marge - thank you.

Heather - I love SeaWorld too but you have to go to Animal Kingdom.

Kwee - thank you!

Howdy and morning Toni

Toni my friend, you sure got a mighty fine looking shoot of one of our Nation's outstanding simbolos. I sure do wish that the Eagle was not taken off of the Federal Endangered and Threatened Wildlife list back in 2007. Did you know that the word Bald actually meant White back when the Bald Eagle got its name.

The Bald Eagle is such a Majestic Bird to see. There is a pair of  them which lives way out back on my property, they have lived there for the pass 8 years.

Have a good one
