Squirrels are cool until they figure out how to dominate your bird feeder.

Joan - thank you! My first attempt at a Photoshop trick.

Winston - We have rigged our seed feeder so they can't get to it; Now we have greased our shepard's hook for the hummer feeder.

Howdy and morning Toni

Toni my friend, Squirrels sure do put on mighty enjoyable shows to watch. They sure are mighty smart and creative little critters, even though that forget where they hide their nuts quite often.

Have a good one

I love to watch squirrels frolic on the feeders.  We had about 10-12 hanging out in our backyard until we had 3 outdoor cats adopt us.  So we quit feeding the birds and squirrels and just watch them as they pass through now.  I guess the cats are a good thing.... saves us money.  We were putting about 10# of birdseed out every week at the peak of activity and that can get expensive.

Toni: Squirrels are quite ingenious critters.  We had to grease our bird feeder poles too and make sure they weren't within tree limb jumping distance as well.

I enjoy watching the squirrels as much as the birds.

Toni - Squirrels are the bane of all bird lovers and their attempts to feed the birds with out these destructive (but cute) rodents who tend to chew holes in the feeders

Larry and Sheila - thank you..I have to keep working on it.

Joanna - thank you. He hasn't yet figured out a way to get the seeds in the other feeders. We have them out of reach.

Kristin - we have a bunch of baby squirrels and they are so much fun to watch playing together.

Dale - they are very smart creatures but I guess they need stakes in the ground with Nuts written on it to find them.

Jeanne & Ralph - See, those smart little guys were helping you save $.

Anita - it's tough when you have to outsmart those teeny little brains.

John - we do too. They are fun to watch.

Kathy  we have a metal feeder. Our last one rusted out before the squirrels could chew it.
