Cops and Robbers in New Port Richey, FL

I’ve been to many, many car shows (especially since Craig decided we should be looking for a replacement for our ‘66 Chevelle) but I had never seen this old police car around the circuit.

I walked up to take a closer peek and look who was in the back seat.

Toni: What a fun way to get more looks...not that this beautiful car needs more help!  Have you found a replacement for the Chevelle yet?

Toni-  I love car shows!  My sister-in-law and her husband are coming for a visit in March or April and I hope there will be some car shows for them to attend... even if along 75 or 95.

Thanks everyone for your comments.

Beth - there's a fabulous car show in Lakeland later on this year around Mirror Lake. I did a post about it last year. He would love it! I'll send you a link.

Larry and Sheila - he was rather strange and didn't move around much :-)

Debbie - usually you see a bunch of flyers for the next several car shows. We are allowed to drop those in the cars.

Kathy - see my comment to Beth. It would be well worth the trip. Let me check on the date.

Kathy Sheehan - I thought of using Keystone Cops but I think it's been over done :)

Kristin - I love the shows. I notice some of the wives go around looking bored but not this one.

TOni, well did you fnd ia car to replace the 66 Chevelle..  I liked the police car and it certainly looked like it was in mint condition. Was it for sale and at what price?

Posted by Rebecca Gaujot, Realtor®, Lewisburg WV, the go to agent for all real estate almost 8 years ago

Rebecca - no we haven't found one yet. Unfortunately most cars at the show aren't for sale, just for ogling :). This one wsn't. It would probably be 50K or more in that condition.

Toni, someone would feel pretty classy being hauled off to the caboose, slammer, or joint if they got a ride like this with the coppers.

Posted by Mona Gersky, GRI,IMSD-Taking the mystery out of real estate. (MoonDancer Realty, Dillsboro,NC) almost 8 years ago

Frank - thanks, I have been there too. There's a show in Lakeland at the convention center Feb. 21-23. (big one).

Mona - it probably is the police chief's car. But that doesn't explain why the criminal is in the back seat :-)

Hi Toni.  I guess we all admire those old cars so lovingly restored.  The bring back the past, don't they?
