Duesenford - A Different Car

Duesenford - A Different Car

Out at a local car show at the Chasco Fiesta Car Show in New Port Richey a couple of Sundays back, we came across this great looking car. It’s a 1931 Ford Four Door Phaeton that has been modified extensively to look like a Duesenberg of the early 1930’s.

Toni, That is one beautiful car!  It would be a lot of fun to own a beauty like that!

She's a beauty, Toni.  Love car shows.  Your area has so many more than mine.  Thanks for sharing.  Dave finally took his black convertible out of the barn this week and promptly had a flat tire while in town.  Guess who had to rescue him.

Hi Toni, this is a classic red beauty. In our area an agent driving his antique black car around town advertising his listing  on the back windshield.

I love it Toni. That's when cars actually had some character. Today...not so much.

Hi Toni, I would bet many of us here have thought about using a car like to take our clients around home shopping. It really does sound like fun but most of us wouldn't actually do it. The reason I suppose is that we think of ourselves as too practical. How sad we are missing out on one of the true joys found in these restored treasures.

That is beautiful!! I bet he's got a ton of money and time tied up in that car. It's a labor of love and most of the time they never recover their investment.

Craig and I are looking for a classic car, I wouldn't use one like this to drive people around in because there are no seatbelts, etc. Imagine the liability. We will use it for listing appointments, And to show.

Thanks everyone for your comments. It is a beauty and we love the car shows, there is always something unusual to see.
