Express Clydesdales Visit New Port Richey, FL

Express Clydesdale

Here they come; harnesses jingling and sparkling in the sun, big fuzzy feet clopping along. Thursday, the city of New Port Richey was given a gift of seeing the Express Clydesdales pulling a carriage through some of our city streets. They started off at the Spartan Manor parking lot. And traveled Madison Ave down to the historical landmark Hacienda Hotel. We followed them and met up with friends at each part of the route.

We were invited to visit with them, take pictures and pet them; it was such a thrill to see these magnificent creatures close up.

We really enjoyed seeing these lovely creatures. They are huge!

Even the Dalmation was cute.

Toni,

Truly, the Clydesdale horses are a gift. Port Richey is very lucky to be honored with their presence. I can't think of anyone who doesn't get excited with there are Clydesdales.

Hi Toni, those Clydesdales are just magnificent-I love the way their feet prance and the hair flows with each step. I would love to see them in person-what a great video and thank you for sharing them.

Look at those beautiful animals. I have seen them up close and am awed by their size and of course their feet.

The only time I have seen the Clydesdales were by complete accident.  We pulled into Sam's Club to shop the parking lot was over flowing we were clueless.....Then Debbie spotted the big beautiful wagon and massive Clydesdales!  They were there to promote Budweiser and yep it worked :)  Clydesdales are beautiful, huge and well maintained horses.

Hi Toni,

Great video and photos! you are so right the Clydesdale's are show offs and you can tell they like to trot plus the dog is adorable. I like the coloring on Dalmatians and yes they still remind me of fire trucks. Thanks for such an upbeat post.
