Fundraisers for Ireland Nugent Scheduled-Lawn Mower Accident Child

I’m sure you’ve all heard the story about little Ireland Nugent, the two-year old who was accidentally  run over by a lawnmower in the driveway of her home. Ireland’s legs were severed at mid-calf and her hand was sliced open. Ireland has had numerous surgeries and skin grafts since the April 11th accident.

Ireland’s family is in need of help for her many surgeries and several organizations have arranged fund raisers for them. This brave little girl and her family need your help. Two of them are listed here: please try to get to one of them.

The first one is a Family Fun Day for Ireland at the Palm Harbor Parks & Recreation Center. On Sunday, June 9 from noon til 5pm. For more info, take a look at their Facebook page here.

Ireland Nugent Fund-raiser

The second one is Saturday, June 29 at Seven Springs Golf and Country Club. 10am-2pm.

take a look at their Facebook page here.

Ah so awful and this post brought tears to my eyes reading about little Ireland. What a terrible accident and I pray the fundraiser events bring in a load of money for the family.

Thanks, Sharon. I don't know how they will get through this but they will.

Alexandra - They are; the father was driving the lawnmower and I can't imagine how he's handling this.

Rebecca - and she's such a sweet little girl.

It is difficult to imagine these injuries. The fundraiser is certainly an outstanding community support effort.
