Pasco County - School is Out- What Are You Doing This Summer

Hey Kids, school is officially over; what are you going to do for the next two months? Florida Beaches

There are, beaches to go to: Anclote Beach Park in Holiday, Green Key Beach in New Port Richey, Hudson Beach in Hudson. Fred Howard Park and Sunset Beaches in Tarpon Springs, and Clearwater Beach in Clearwater.

There are programs at the YMCA in Trinity. my son spent many summers there; the New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center; programs at the many of the Pasco County Parks and Recreation centers; and the Pasco County Libraries.

Frog Reading

Lots of educational camps, athletic camps, environmental camps, and art camps abound. Brooker Creek Nature Preserve on Keystone Road has a summer program; You get to check out amphibians and reptiles including gopher tortoises, frogs, and snakes.

Phew, do you think you will have enough time to do all this before school starts again August 19, 2013?

And, if you're parents are looking for a new home; they can call us.

Some excellent suggestions to keep the kids busy and from getting bored this summer Toni.

Toni: With so many local activities to keep them busy, kids in Pasco County should have a blast this summer.

There will be kids everywhere! The morning and afternoon rush hour traffic should be a little lighter though :-)

I like the option of educational camps. Smart parents work with their children to review their studies to have them well prepared for the next year.

Toni, There's no reason anyone will be bored this summer in Pasco County. We're in school here until the end of the month...

Thanks, Roger.

Anita - those is no shortage of things to do.

Fred - yes, time to keep a sharp eye out when driving.

Roy - educational camps are so worthwhile but sometimes the cost can be prohibitive for some folks.

Hi Toni,

Now that school is out for the summer. You have to deal with all the kids being there when you show the homes to the perspective buyers. Oh the joy of summer. :-)

Have a good day in Trinity Florida.

Best, Clint McKie

Good Morning Toni,  Summer time could go by fast if they are headed back to school on Aug. 19.  I remember our school never going back tll the day after labor day, how times have change.
