Toni: With the cooler temps, a home with a fireplace does sound very appealing. I hope warmer weather is on its way!

Nothing cozier than sitting in front of a fire with an "adult beverage".

Anita - they are saying 80 degrees on Monday, Tuesday.

Roger - and that's the truth!

Good morning Toni, given the weather, a fireplace even in Florida could be lovely and, it makes for a fabulous focal point, regardless of the season.

Good Morning Toni, we've been seeing some crazy weather in FL for sure. Fireplaces will always be in demand, no matter what the temps say outside, sitting by the fireplace always relaxes me.

Joanna - it gets cold here too. We are not used to it so it seems colder.

Amanda - they are nice to cozy up to. Thanks for the fireplace idea.

Kristin - I actually got the idea from Amanda #5. Feel free.

Beth - we have and it looks like we will see a lot more! Must be due to global warming

Toni, I think most of the US has been a bit chilly, and fireplaces are high on buyers' wish lists!

Many home buyers want fireplaces even if they never use them. And, I expect that many of the Maryland retirees that move to Florida will wish for a fireplace.

Hannah, thank you. I keep trying to warm up with it.

Sheila. That is so true. I love dreaming in front of a fire.

Joan, i agree. This is a fireplace winter.

Roy, i think when people move from the north, they are surprised to see we don't have that many homes with them.

Rob, be I think they are on our minds right now with the cold we're having.

Hi Toni, we have two fireplaces. The one in the family room has been since January on all day from morning til we go to bed.  This is the coldest winter I can remember, with little snow.  Great graphic for this post.

Belinda - me too!

Rebecca, we have had a lot more cold, nasty weather days this year too.

Dale - it's funny how that works, isn't it!

Kathy - you're welcome!

Barbara - It gets cold, even in Florida, the rain when it's cold is biting. Not snow but something we Floridians aren't used to.
