Pasco School Start Info and Stuff The Bus

It’s that time again although it seems like the school year just ended and we were celebrating the start of summer.  Secondary Registration is August 12, Elementary Registration is August 13. School starts August 18 in Pasco County. Click here for the Pasco County Schools website.

On August 1st, 2nd and 3rd, United Way of Pasco County along with Publix, Wal-Mart, and other community partners are helping Pasco teachers stock up for the coming school year. Buses will be at 14 locations across Pasco County where shoppers can buy supplies and stuff the buses. We will also need volunteers for the sorting event at Pine View Middle School on Monday, August 4th. Visit here to sign up.  You can check out their Facebook page here.

Toni, hard to believe it's almost back to school time. Summer has gone by so fast! I hope there are lots of supplies donated.

Toni: The summer has flown by...I am sure kids will agree with that statement. This is a handy list for parents in Pasco County as they prep for the beginning of the school year.

Back to school Toni, boy do the Summer months go by so much faster than January through March.

The year-round schools make it even more confusing.  Several clients posted First Day of School photos of their kids starting the new school year -- in mid-July!

I hope this appeal results in a bountiful collection of school supplies.

Some would ask why the school system is so underfunded that it can not provide needed supplies for the students.

Toni, It is still hard for me to believe that it is time to think about back to school. Our start back in two weeks.

Hi everyone, it sure does seem like it goes by fast, doesn't it? Of course, when I was in school back in the day, we didn't start until September. Made for a much longer summer.
