Florida Sales Tax Holiday 2015 Extended
The Good News! The Florida Sales Tax Holiday which gives Floridians a break on school supplies and other things has been extended to 10 days from 3 days last year. The Florida sales tax holiday will be in effect from Aug. 7 to Aug. 16.
What's Tax Free?
Items that will be tax-free include; clothing, footwear, wallets, and bags that costs $100 or less, school supplies that cost $15 or less, and the first $750 of the cost of personal computers and related accessories.
This means it’s time to start making a list of things you want/need so you won’t miss out. Make out a list of stores you will need to hit in order to get your items; try to take advantage of the many sales planned around the holiday. Plan your shopping at times when the malls and stores won’t be as crowded. Be careful with your credit cards.
